Indian T20 League has many matches in its history where a batsman performed extraordinarily, but his knock went in vain as the team couldn't pull a win. We have summed up batsmen that showed their class but luck was something that was not in their favor in those specific innings.
In this article, you'll read about batsmen who topped the fantasy points system but their team failed to win the match. Rishabh Pant against Hyderabad In 2008, Pant's scintillating 128 allowed Delhi to embed 187 on the scoreboard. A target which was eventually chased down by Hyderabad. Despite Delhi's loss, Pant was marvelous with his bat, completed his 50 in 36 balls and went on to score 128 with a strike rate of 200+. Bhuvaneshwar was one of the most successful bowlers in the 2018 season, and Pant did not care about that fact and completely thrashed him along with other bowlers in the team. MS Dhoni against Bangalore The antepenultimate season of the league saw the best finisher's wrath against Bangalore. Unfortunately, Chennai lost the match but Dhoni's 84 off 48 balls proved why he is called the best finisher. Steyn's wonderful spell combined with Yadav's bowling uprooted Chennai's opening order. Chennai was already down 4 wickets in the powerplay before Dhoni arrived on the crease. He supported his team and took the game to the death overs where he needed 26 runs off the last 6 balls. Virat was still not sure that he would win as Dhoni was on strike, and Dhoni went on a rampage and struck 4, 6, 6, 2, 6 in the first five balls, but missed on the final delivery. Yusuf Pathan against Mumbai Pathan scored a century that is worth remembering. He started slow with just 15 runs off 14 balls and then he shifted his form to the top gear, and scored a 100 in just 37 balls. It was the third season of the league and Pathan was auctioned in Rajasthan and had shown a great form. Mumbai had given Rajasthan a 213-run target which Rajasthan would have chased if Pathan had not suffered a run out. Suresh Raina against Punjab In 2014, Punjab gave Chennai a target of 227 runs which Chennai failed to chase. In the very first over Chennai lost a wicket, and Raina walked into the stadium to play a heroic innings. He scored 87 runs off just 25 deliveries and made it possible for Chennai to win the game. But unfortunately, Chennai could not convert the head start by Raina into a win. Raina got a bit unlucky and got run out, had he not gotten run out, Chennai would have emerged as the winner. These are some of the best knocks in the history of the league. We have some honorable mentions as well. In the inaugural season of the league Dravid struck 75 runs in 36 balls against Rajasthan. Manan Vohra proved he's not just an average Joe after he scored 95 runs off just 50 balls against Rajasthan, but his team lost the match.

Since its inception in 2008, the Indian T20 League has been a hit among cricketing fans across the globe. Everyone was dubious about the idea of international stars playing alongside Indian cricketers, but the league entertained the fans and emerged as the biggest cricket carnival of India.
The main objective of the league was to give uncapped players a platform to hone their skills and perform better in their future careers. And this idea has worked wonderfully, as we have seen many players emerge from this league and played for team India. This article will talk about some of the bowlers who performed exceptionally well in the Indian T20 League. Sunil Narine Narine was bought in by Kolkata in 2012, and since then, their fortunes have changed. Narine had plenty of tricks up his sleeves and performed almost every time his team needed him. Narine was Gambhir's last resort whenever his team was in jeopardy. Narine holds an excellent record and has 137 wickets in his name so far in the league. With an economy rate of 6.75, he is one of the most successful bowlers in the league. Narine also has performed brilliantly with his bat. Amit Mishra Mishra is the second-highest wicket-taker after Malinga, and that shows his caliber as a leg spinner. The league was considered primarily batsman-friendly, where we generally saw high-scoring matches. As a result, spinners sometimes struggled and bowled at a very high economy. With 156 wickets, Mishra bowled at an impressive economy of 7.35. He is the most experienced bowler in the league's history and has acted as a mentor to the young bowlers. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar Despite the fact that this season had some ups and downs for the Indian bowler, Kumar's overall record speaks a different language. He has taken 142 wickets throughout his time in the league and stands in 7th place on the list of most wickets taken. Kumar has an economy of 7.3, which is pretty good, considering he bowls in the powerplay and the death overs. He was the purple cap holder in the 9th season of the league and achieved the same title in the following season. He has also played fewer matches than other bowlers on the list, and he might surpass them in the future. Jasprit Bumrah When it comes to yorkers, nobody beats Bumrah's delivery. He is known for his yorkers and is an asset for Mumbai. And it is not surprising to see him bowl good yorkers as he is mentored by the legend Malinga. Bumrah joined the league when it was six years old and too soon got himself recognized as an effective bowler. Bumrah has been part of the Mumbai squad all the four times the team lifted the title. Lasith Malinga Being an overseas player, Malinga is loved by the Indian crowd because of his game. However, Malinga was feared by most of the batsmen because of his killer yorkers. Despite having played only 122 innings, which is far less than the other players on the list of 'most wickets taken,' he tops the list and has 170 wickets to his name. Malinga's action was unique and quite effective when it came to picking up wickets. Being a veteran in bowling, he owes to the success of Bumrah and Pandya. Many other bowlers have shown their mettle and have stood out in the league. The likes of Chahal, Ashwin, and Chawla have demonstrated their potential in the league and are leading wicket-takers in the league. We expect to see many other young talents emerge out in the process. You can read our blog for all the significant updates and match predictions with all the vital information. Chris Gayle The West Indies' mighty batsman has surpassed all levels when it comes to hitting massive sixes, that often goes out of the stadium. Gayle's playing style is not very complicated or mixed with tricks, nevertheless how simple his batting style is, it haunts bowlers, especially spinners. He has a knack of converting innings into his favor and winning a match which is on a verge of slipping from the hands. When he used to play with Bangalore, in the 2013 season, he scored his career's highest of 175 not-out in just 66 balls, where he smashed 17 sixes and 13 fours. Team: Bangalore Against: Pune Season: 2013 Brendon McCullum McCullum stands on the second position when it comes to highest individual score. 1. Selection Of Players Every team in a fantasy cricket game consists of 11 playing sportsmen, who would be playing on the field at the same time. Although, there are a few limitations for a team maker to select their dream team. • A team can comprise of not more than 7 players from a playing team. • Minimum 1 and maximum 4 wicket keepers are allowed. • Minimum 1 and maximum 4 all-rounders. • Minimum 1 and maximum 6 batsmen. • Minimum 1 and maximum 6 bowlers. 2. After you download the fantasy cricket app, you will select your playing 11 to begin with, and they will be awarded certain points for their roles in the game. The distribution of points will vary in all tournaments. For instance, the fantasy point system for the Indian T20 league, and the Test matches is mildly different from each other. In addition to this, points are awarded differently to batsmen, bowlers, and fielders depending on their performance and contribution to the game. So whenever you make your fantasy team, make sure to have a look at the distribution of points before starting the game, as it will greatly affect the selection of players in your team. 3. Furthermore, as the last step, the users have to select a captain and a vice captain for their team. It is important to select these two players attentively, because the point percentage of these two players is automatically increased by 2.0% and 1.5% respectively. So it is advisable to spend your credits on the players who could score the best in any game and double your points if you make them the captain or vice captain of your fantasy team. Punjab and Mumbai will fight out for the final time in Chennai’s Chepak Stadium in Indian T20 League 2021. Both sides lost their previous game and they desperately need a win to boost their points table. Punjab suffered three consecutive games and it will be tough for them to crack the playoffs if they lose again.
Mumbai’s story is mixed-up now as they have two wins and two defeats from the first four games in Chennai. They defended smartly against Kolkata and Hyderabad but lost to Bangalore and Delhi in the final over thriller. In the previous game, their batting unit let them down and it cost them a match. They got a fiery start in powerplay but middle-order couldn’t replicate and Delhi trapped them in the spin. Bowlers fought hard but it was an average total in Chennai and Delhi ended their 5-match losing streak against Chennai. Read More: Indian T20 League team analysis of Mumbai Mumbai needs to update its batting issues. Only Rohit and Surya showed some responsibility. Middle-order has been poor so far and Mumbai lost their 6 inside 12 overs after 2016 which was a big concern. We saw their issues in death-overs in the first three games but this time, they failed to deliver in middle-overs. Any change is unlikely to happen and Mumbai will continue with Jayant who was impressive with bat and ball. On the other hand, Punjab’s poor campaign continues and for the second time, their batting unit let them down. They have scored 120 or below twice in their four games which is a big concern. In the last game, they were bowled out on 120 and Hyderabad chased it down with nine wickets in hand. Punjab bowlers tried to fight with a small total but they failed to achieve their goals. Read More: Indian T20 League team analysis of Punjab Punjab have just one win from four wins and that one win came against Rajasthan in a last-ball thriller. Overall, we haven’t seen a collective team performance from Punjab so far. Pooran now has three ducks in four games and he should be replaced by Malan who had great numbers in T20Is. Allen was impressive with his bowling and Hooda can offer them a 5th bowling option,. Henriques is a good option to try in middle-order. Punjab will look to bounce back after three back-to-back defeats. Pitch Behaviour Chennai’s surface is now a bowling-friendly wicket and it offers good assistance to spinners. Batting would be tough and they have to play with a sensible approach. Any target above 140 would be a tough one to chase. In the last couple of years, various fantasy platforms launched some other games apart from cricket like MyTeam11 launched Rugby in 2020, and Dream11 introduced NFL.

Cricket Cricket is a big market for fantasy platforms and this game has taken a large space in the user-base of fantasy games. Around 80 percent of people love to play fantasy cricket and the number rises each year. During the time of the World Cup and Indian T20 League, we see a big turnaround in fantasy cricket. For Indian users, fantasy is all about cricket. Fantasy platforms have also kept this in mind and they added a big amount for cricket. If you’re a regular fantasy user, you will see one crore of winning-prize only in cricket. Even the revenue of fantasy platform comes from cricket fans and this game takes place in more than half of the revenue which signifies the strength of the user-base in cricket. 2. Football Football was the first game that was used in fantasy and the idea of launching Football Fantasy came through FPL (Fantasy Premier League in England). To Play Fantasy Football, you simply need to pick 11 players and they have four sections to pick such as goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards. Fantasy points are divided through scoring goals, tackles, assists, clean sheets, etc. Most users pick their captain and vice-captain from forwards and midfielders because mostly they score a goal. It has the second-largest user base in India after cricket. 3. Kabaddi Fantasy Kabaddi emerged victorious in 2019 and we saw a good change in its user base. The launch of PKL (Pro Kabaddi League) in India helped fantasy platforms to evolve this game among Indian fans. User-base crossed Football’s fan base during PKL in 2019. In Kabaddi, you also get few sections but you pick 7 players and it’s really tough to get the best fantasy team. Kabaddi’s user base only grows during specific Kabaddi tournaments but it has a great fantasy experience. 4. Basketball Basketball got its user base after the success of Football Fantasy. It has a larger audience in the US but after the popularity of the NBA in India, fantasy Basketball has tightened the grip on the Indian user base. Fantasy platforms also added some European competitions in Basketball and during the cricket’s off-season, Basketball marks the attention of many users. You can pick 8 players from five sections such as Point-Guard, Shooting-Guard, Small-Forward, Power-Forward, and 5. Baseball With the popularity of Basketball, Indian users loved playing Baseball. This game is quite similar to cricket and it has a great fan base among Indians who live in the US. Fantasy platforms promoted non-cricketing games and US baseball competitions for those users who had avoided playing cricket. Regular fantasy users love playing all kinds of fantasy games and Baseball also takes part in this category. In Baseball, you can pick nine players from four different sections as outfielders, infielders, pitchers, and catchers. The chances of winning in Baseball are high and the competition is pretty low. They included Chris Morris and Mustafizur Rahman as pacers. Bowling was Rajasthan’s big concern and they managed to fill that gap. Riyan Parag and Tewatia will take the roles in middle-order. Shivam Dube will be the only Indian player to make a franchise debut on Monday. Rajasthan can even pick Livingstone to boost the batting order. If they do so, Mustafizur will be dropped. Rajasthan have the spark but execution will be key in Indian T20 League. Read More: Indian T20 League team analysis of Hyderabad On the other hand, Punjab have gone through the same phase in last 6-7 years. Mayank and Rahul will open and Gayle will come at number three. Pooran and Mandeep will bat in middle-order. Either Henriques or Malan will be added considering Mumbai’s surface. Shami will lead the pace-attack with Jordan and Arshdeep Singh. Punjab can go ahead with two spinners Murugan Ashwin and Ravi Bishnoi. Punjab are slightly ahead in the game as they have the balance in the playing XI. Pitch Behaviour - Wankhede’s track is a batting paradise and it offers lot of runs to batsmen. In this segment, we tell you about the 10 Most Expensive Players in the Indian T20 League 2021 Auction: Chris Morris – 16.25 crore to Rajasthan South African pacer Chris Morris surprised everyone at this auction. Glenn Maxwell – 14.25 crore to Bangalore Bangalore was desperate for Glenn Maxwell and one more time, the Australian all-rounder got a big bid in the auction. Bangalore had a tough fight with Chennai during the bid and they bought Maxwell for a price of 14.25 Cr. Maxwell last played for Punjab but his outing with Punjab was so poor. Jhye Richardson – 14 Cr to Punjab Jhye Richardson was in fine form in Australia T20 League 2020-21 and it helped him to get the contract in Indian T20 League. Punjab bought him for the price of 14 Cr. Krishnappa Gowtham – 9.25 crore to Chennai Gowtham became the most expensive uncapped Indian player in the history of the Indian T20 League. Chennai finished seventh in the last edition and Gowtham would be a handy pick to provide the all-around option. Riley Meredith – 8 crores to Punjab The young Australian pacer Riley Meredith entered into the auction with the base price of just 40 lakh. Punjab bought him for a price of 8 crores. Meredith scalped 16 wickets in Australia T20 League 2020-21 for Hobart. He is now the most expensive uncapped overseas player in Indian T20 League history. He was released by Bangalore and in 2020, he didn’t play much for Kohli’s side. Moeen Ali is a fine T20 player who might be effective at Chepauk with his spin and he can also accelerate runs in middle-order. Shahrukh Khan – 5.25 crores to Punjab Punjab had a good amount in their bag and they used it on domestic players as well. Tamil Nadu batsman ShahrukhKhan earned the Indian T20 League contract for his consistent run at the domestic level. Punjab and Delhi both were fighting for this batsman and in the end, Zinta’s Punjab bought the 25-year-old player for the price of 5.25 crores. Tom Curran – 5.25 crores to Delhi Tom Curran played last season for Rajasthan but didn’t get enough games. In this segment, we pick the top five batting performances from Australian star, Steve Smith in Indian T20 League: 84 (54) Vs. Mumbai (2017) It was the finest season for Steve Smith with the bat. He was the skipper of Pune franchise. The eventual title winner Mumbai posted a huge 184 in 20 overs. Smith and Rahane added 58-runs after losing the first wicket early. Smith fought single-handedly with the finest knock of the season. The skipper scored 84 runs off 54 balls to take Pune home. 101 (54) Vs. Gujarat (2016) It was the only century for Steve Smith in Indian T20 League. It was a pure class knock from a technical player. He smashed eight fours and five sixes in his maiden century. Rajasthan posted a huge 195 on board but Gujarat chased down the total on the final ball of the match. 79 (53) Vs. Mumbai (2015) With late firepower from Pollard helping Mumbai to post 164 runs in 20 overs, Rajasthan were in deep trouble after regular wickets. He scored a fine half-century against Kolkata. He batted slowly in the start and later, went for quick runs. On a tough track, he scored gritty 73 runs off 59 balls and also added 72-runs with Jos Buttler. Kolkata chased down the total, courtesy of a blistering start from Lynn and Narine.

Team Preview After outperforming Australia in Canberra, Men In Blue has reached Sydney to play the final two T20Is. The captain Kohli is going to win another T20I series after nine consecutive T20I wins. On Friday, India was not in a good situation after losing six at 114, but Jadeja fired with 44 off just 23 balls to post 161. Australia started on a high note by scoring 52 in powerplay without losing a single wicket. Chahal was introduced to Jadeja’s substitute, and he finished his spell with three wickets. Natarajan also scalped three wickets in his debut match. India has lost one T20I series in 3-matches bilateral series. They have a winning percentage of 86.67. Jadeja has been ruled of the T20I series, and Shardul Thakar will join him as the replacement. India will make some changes in the playing XI. Shreyas Iyer might be included in the middle-order, and Samson can get one more chance. For the 5th bowling-option, Kohli can add Yuzvendra Chahal after an excellent performance in Canberra. The skipper can also think about Shardul, who can also bat in the lower-order. On the other hand, Australia would try to bounce back in the series. After defeating the visitors in the first two ODIs, Australia lost two back-to-back affairs in different formats. Aaron Finch has a good record in the T20s as captain, and he hasn’t lost a series at home, but the Aussies can lose the series if they deliver the same show on Sunday. In the last two overs in the previous game, Australia conceded 34 runs, which cost them a match. In middle-order, their too much reliability on Smith and Maxwell hurt the Hosts. Finch can include Alex Carey in place of Mathew Wade. Ashton Agar has been ruled of the series, and Nathan Lyon has been named his replacement. Australia can also recall Andrew Tye in place of Abbott. Pitch Report SCG’s surface is a fine batting track, and it favours the batsmen more. It has offered high-scoring games in the T20 format. The chasing side will have an advantage as the batting would be slightly easier in the second half. Possible XI India Virat Kohli (c), Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer/Manish Pandey, Sanju Samson, Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar, KL Rahul (wk), Yuzvendra Chahal/Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Shami, Deepak Chahar, T Natarajan Australia Aaron Finch (c), Steve Smith, D’Arcy Short, Moises Henriques, Glenn Maxwell, Mitchell Swepson/Nathan Lyon, Mathew Wade/Alex Carey (wk), Sean Abbott/Andrew Tye, Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa Key Players India KL Rahul Yuzvendra Chahal Australia Steve Smith Moises Henriques We are offering cricket fans all the major updates and match predictions with all the vital information. India vs Australia T20I face-off in the opening T20I of the three-matches T20I series at Canberra. Australia clinched the ODI series 2-1 as India won the final ODI by 13 runs.
Team Preview Team India will start the T20I series after a disappointing series loss in ODIs against Australia. In the T20s, India will enter as the favourites after the dominating numbers in the past. This year, Kohli’s troops whitewashed New Zealand in the 5-matches seriesDown Under. In the home-season, they edged past Bangladesh and West Indies. India will host the next T20 World Cup, and this series will help them to find the best combination. India will miss Rohit Sharma, but they have two top performers KL Rahul and Dhawan, as openers who were the top-scorers of the Indian T20 League. Either Iyer or Manish Pandey will bat at number four, following Virat Kohli at one-down. In the middle, Kohli can pick Washington Sundar, who had bowled very well in powerplays in UAE. With Jadeja and Chahal, India already have two options in the spin. Team management can also rest either Shami or Bumrah to prepare for the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2020-21. Natarajan will also earn the T20I cap, and Deepak Chahar would be the other seamer who can bowl with the new ball. Team India had last won the T20I series in Australia in 2016 when under MS-Dhoni, Team India whitewashed Australia. The previous series between India and Australia won by the Aussies, who had a 2-0 triumph on India tour in 2019. The hosts will miss Warner, and Finch would go with D’archy Short in the opening slot. Short has proved his worth in the Australian T20 League before. Labuschagne will be dropped to give him more time to prepare for the Test series. In the absence of Pat Cummins, Andrew Tye will take the new ball. Stoinis’ availability is in doubt due to injury, and Moises Henriques will play as an all-rounder after impressing in the ODI series. Australia will go with two spin options, Agar and Zampa. Ashton Agar also provides the batting option in death. Australia has defeated South Africa in T20s Down Under but lost to England 2-1 in September. Last year, they played three T20 series against Asian giants and didn’t lose a single game. The Aussies will also look to take the top spot in Rankings as England are the new Rankings holder after a 3-0 clean sweep against South Africa. Pitch Report Manuka Oval’s track is fast and produces a good bounce. Pacers can take early help from the pitch. It’s a batting-friendly wicket, and we might expect a high-scoring game on Thursday. Possible XI India Virat Kohli (c), Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar, Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul (wk), Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah/Mohammed Shami, Deepak Chahar, T Natarajan Australia Aaron Finch (c), Steve Smith, D’Arcy Short, Moises Henriques, Glenn Maxwell, Ashton Agar, Alex Carey (wk), Andrew Tye, Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa Key Players India KL Rahul Yuzvendra Chahal Australia Steve Smith Glenn Maxwell Cricketing action is back and we offer all the information regarding the upcoming major cricket events such as new, predictions and match analysis. Australia takes on India in the first ODI to kick start their home summer in the Ind vs Aus series. It will also be the first international assignment for Team India since the COVID-19 outbreak.
Match Timings: Nov 27, 9:10 AM Team Preview Team India will face Australia in the opening ODI to start their long tour featuring T20s and Tests. After completing the quarantine, India started the training, but they haven’t played any warmup, and it will be their first competitive affair since March. Indian players have played two-month long Indian T20 League in UEA, so it won’t interrupt their preparation. It will also be the first series for Men in Blue in ICC’s new CWC Super League. India doesn’t need to gain points from this series as they have already qualified for the World Cup being the hosts. In the absence of Rohit Sharma, Mayank Agrawal will open for India with in-form Shikhar Dhawan. The duo had good numbers in Indian T20 League for their respective sides. The middle-order will be boosted by Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul. Hardik Pandya will play as a proper batsman, and it might create a problem for Kohli to fill the 5th bowling option. He can go with an extra seamer to complete this spot, and Navdeep Saini can get the nod in playing XI. Jadeja would take advantage over Kuldeep Yadav in the final XI. Chahal will also have a big responsibility in middle-overs. On the other hand, the Aussies would go ahead with the same winning XI who played against England in September. Most of the Australian players had participated in the Indian T20 League. Warner and Stoinis both had a good season with the bat. Smith was in decent touch for Rajasthan, but Maxwell’s form might be a worrying sign for Punjab. Maxwell can adapt to the condition on an international level. He guided Australia to a remarkable chase in the last ODI fixture against England with Alex Carey. Australia defeated England in their last ODI series and earned points for Super League. Marnus Labuschagne was in good touch on the South Africa tour, and he would be a key player in the middle-order. Adam Zampa had good success against India, and he would be a significant threat in middle-overs. The pace trio Cummins, Starc, and Hazlewood would also trouble Indian batsmen. It should be a cracking contest between Indian batting and Aussies’ bowling. The hosts are favourites on Friday as they are used to the conditions, and their formidable bowling attack can stun the Indian batting lineup. Pitch Report Sydney Cricket Ground is a fine batting track, and it offers a good balance between bat and ball. Pacers can take help from the bounce, and spinners can also find assistance in middle-overs. We expect an imposing score of around 270 and 280. Possible XI Australia David Warner, Aaron Finch (c), Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, Marcus Stoinis, Alex Carey (wk), Glenn Maxwell, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Adam Zampa India Shikhar Dhawan, Mayank Agarwal, Virat Kohli (C), Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul (wk), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd. The excitement is high amongst all fans as all the tickets for the limited-over series are sold. In today’s segment, we discuss the important factors for India to retain success in Australia. In limited-overs cricket, India have evolved new memories as they lost just one T20 in Australia out of six, and they are the first team who took the clean sweep in T20s on Australian soil. In the last tour, India defeated the Aussies 2-1 in the ODI series. The recent success over Australia put India ahead in white-ball cricket.
Last year, India and Australia faced each other in 9 ODIs, including the World Cup meeting in England. India won five matches and lost four. In the first away assignment, India secured a 2-1 victory. In the reply, Australia pulled off a remarkable comeback in the series by beating India at their home 3-2, getting down 2-0 in the series. In England, India defeated Australia convincingly, thanks to a brilliant ton from Dhawan. What’s new in the ODIs this time? The COVID-19 outbreak will not affect India’s preparation as all players have played the Indian T20 League for more than a month. Aussies have also featured in this T20 tournament and played the white-ball series against England. Australia also defeated World Cup winner England in the ODI series, courtesy of a great chase from Alex Carey and Maxwell. The preparation is high, and the excitement is also increased with the media’s role. Fans will also be seen on the ground, so the atmosphere of the game will deliver a remarkable show of cricket. The opening chair With Rohit Sharma included in the Tests only, whom India would try in the ODIs? The T20's opening slot is done with KL Rahul and Sikhar Dhawan, who had a glorious season at Indian T20 League. Mayank Agarwal and Shubhman Gill have been included in the ODIs, and Agarwal might get the captain's final nod. Mayank Agarwal has been a promising talent since his international debut in 2018, and he proved his worth in white-ball at the domestic level. He scored a fine century for Punjab this season and aggregated more than 400 runs in Indian T20 League 2020. Hardik, the batsman not as an all-rounder After the injury in 2019, Hardik Pandya is playing as a batsman, and in a batting role, the right-hand batsman was in great touch in Indian T20 League, scoring 281 runs with a strike rate of 178.98. Pandya has been a critical figure for India with the bowl in middle-overs, and it gave Kohli to look for depth in batting at number 7 or 8, but the scenario is changed. Hardik will not bowl in Australia means India will have to pick a proper pacer along with Shami and Bumrah. Will Kohli find a new way to crack this code in ODIs? It belongs to the skipper himself. The middle-overs mystery and Jadeja On overseas tours, India went with Kuldeep and Chahal as the main spinners, which was a great success for Kohli. The duo delivered breakthroughs in middle-overs, but Jadeja's late success with the bat made this duo problematic. Kohli dropped one spinner and picked Jadeja due to his all-around skill, but it becomes an unfavorable call. India toured New Zealand and suffered a clean-sweep in ODIs. Jadeja is quite useful at the finishing end, but he is not picking wickets in middle-overs. With a prominent batting unit, if Kohli still backs Jadeja as the 5th bowling option considering Pandya as a proper batsman, India will suffer. T20 side is more balanced than ODIs If we break down the current squad in both ODI and T20 format, India looks more balanced in T20s. With KL Rahul and Dhawan at the top, followed by Kohli, Iyer, and Pandey in the middle, and Pandya at the finishing end, India is a dangerous batting unit in the shorter format. Jadeja and Washington Sunder are two good options, along with Chahal. One player will make a way, and Jadeja takes the final whistle. In pace, Natarajan is a prominent inclusion who bowled exceptionally great, and with Bumrah, he can give India a right balance in death-overs. The recent success put Shami at the top ahead of Navdeep Saini. In ODIs, the story is slightly different, and it keeps Australia a bit ahead in the 50-overs format. We are offering cricket fans all the major updates and match predictions with all the vital information. Trailblazers and Supernovas lock horns in the final of Indian Women’s T20 2020. Both sides met earlier on Saturday in a thrilling contest where Supernovas had the last laugh with 2 runs. Team Preview Indian Women’s T20’s final will be played between Supernovas and Trailblazers. Supernovas made into the final for the second time after a 2-runs victory in the previous game against the same opponent. In a do-die clash, the top-order gave a positive start, as Athapaththu scored fine 48-balls 67, and Harman-Punia both scored the thirties. Bowlers hold the nerve, despite a fight from the duo Deepti and Harleen. After league games, all three sides were on the same two points, and Velocity knocked out from the race of final due to poor NRR. After missing out on the final due to the same reason, Trailblazers improved this time and finished on top this time. Mandhana was in good touch in the previous game, scoring vital 37, and Dottin is giving a quick start to the side. They have Harleen and Deepti in the middle-overs. Trailblazers have a slight advantage in the final due to their bowling approach. Dottin and Athapaatuwill be key players for their respective sides to find the title glory in Sharjah. Both sides have good spinners and proper T20 batters, so it should be a cracker game of cricket. Pitch Report Sharjah's surface is a decent T20 surface, and it offers plenty of help to spinners. We can expect a good score, and the dew will play a major role in the 2nd innings. Chasing would be an ideal call. Possible XI Trailblazers Smriti Mandhana (c), Deandra Dottin, Richa Ghosh (wk), Harleen Deol, Deepti Sharma, Dayalan Hemalatha, Nattakan Chantam, Salma Khatun, Sophie Ecclestone, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Jhulan Goswami Supernovas Priya Punia, Chamari Athapaththu, Jemimah Rodrigues, Harmanpreet Kaur (c), Shashikala Siriwardene, Taniya Bhatia (wk), Pooja Vastrakar, Radha Yadav, Poonam Yadav, Shakera Selman, Ayabonga Khaka Key Players Trailblazers Deandra Dottin Previous matches - 29 (28), 27 (15) Deepti Sharma Previous matches - 8/1 , 43 (40) Supernovas Chamari Athapaththu Previous matches - 44 (39), 67 (48) Harmanpreet Kaur Previous matches - 31 (27), 31 (29) MyTeam11 Fantasy XI - Wicket-Keeper : Richa Ghosh, Taniya Bhatia Batsmen : Deandra Dottin, Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues All-Rounders : Deepti Sharma, Chamari Athapaththu, Harleen Deol Bowlers : Salma Khatun, Rajeshwari Gayakwad Indian Women's T20 League FINALE is here to give you a lot, along with Indian T20 League, make your teams on new fantasy cricket app MyTeam11 and win exciting prizes. Trailblazers lock horns with Supernovas In the last league match of the Indian Women’s T20 2020. Match Timings: Nov 07, 7:30 PM Team Preview Supernovas suffered a defeat in a last-over thriller against Velocity, and Trailblazers thrashed Velocity by 9 wickets top open doors for both sides. Trailblazers will play the final with a better net-run-rate, and they just need to play their natural game. The normal defeat will still make their entry into the final. Trailblazers were knocked out due to the weak NRR last year. Both sides met twice in the tournament before, and the previous encounter was won by Trailblazers by 2 runs. However, Trailblazers thrashed Velocity by bowling them out on just 47 in their opening game, thanks to Sophie Eccleston’’s 4-wickets haul. Gayakwad and Jhulan both picked 2 wickets each. Meanwhile, the defending champions kicked off their campaign with a 5-wickets defeat to Velocity. Supernovas could have won this match, but the late collapse in batting and poor bowling, in the end, gave them a bottom place in the table. Athapaththu was in good touch, scoring 44 off 39 balls, and Harman also batted very well with 31. In the end, they needed some fire but 31, but Supernovas collapsed from 111/3 to 126/8, which cost them later in the match. The equation is simple for Harman’s unit. They have to win this encounter with a good margin. If they win, the points will be equaled, and the net-run-rate will play a role like we saw last year. The defeat will knock them out of the competition. Pitch Report Sharjah's track is a decent T20 surface, and it has the same amount of help for batswomen and bowlers. The dew might play a role in the night-match. We can expect another low-scoring game, and the batting-first side will have an advantage. Possible XI Trailblazers Smriti Mandhana (c), Deandra Dottin, Richa Ghosh (wk), Harleen Deol, Deepti Sharma, Dayalan Hemalatha, Nattakan Chantam, Salma Khatun, Sophie Ecclestone, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Jhulan Goswami Supernovas Priya Punia, Chamari Athapaththu, Jemimah Rodrigues, Harmanpreet Kaur (c), Shashikala Siriwardene, Taniya Bhatia (wk), Pooja Vastrakar, Radha Yadav, Poonam Yadav, Shakera Selman, Ayabonga Khaka Key Players Trailblazers Deandra Dottin Last match - 29 (28) Sophie Ecclestone Last outing: 3.1-1-9-4 Supernovas Poonam Yadav M: 5, Wickets: 10, Avg: 11.90 Shashikala Siriwardene M: 4, Wickets: 7, Avg: 14.14 MyTeam11 Fantasy XI- Wicket-keeper : Richa Ghosh, Taniya Bhatia Batsmen : Nattakan Chantam, Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues All-Rounders : Deepti Sharma, Chamari Athapaththu Bowlers : Sophie Ecclestone, Salma Khatun, Poonam Yadav Indian Women's T20 League is here to give you a lot, along with Indian T20 League, make your teams on new fantasy cricket app MyTeam11 and win exciting prizes.
